Has gained experience in all aspects of the construction process, with design knowledge using all general construction materials. Has worked on a wide range of projects, including superstructure, roads and drainage for Industrial developments; refurbishment of historic buildings; retail and office developments; developing congested inner city sites; temporary works including the retention of large listed facades; housing estates; works to Motor Racing circuits; contaminated lands works.

Worked with GEC-Mowlem in 1988-89 as a site engineer on the upgrading of the Docklands Light Railway. This included the programming and construction of the railway, reinforced concrete structures at Canary Wharf Station, and strengthening of composite steel/concrete bridges over the docks.
Site experience on a wide variety of other projects has been gained during the course of his professional career.

Professional Development and Technical Skills
Familiar with many Structural Analysis and draught programs including ACAD 2002, STAAD, QSE, Corus Software, RAM Structural System, WinDes (Foul & Surface water analysis) and BREVe (wind load calculation). Regularly attends technical seminars to keep abreast of the latest advances, primarily though the Institute of structural Engineers and Institute of Civil Engineers.
